As a university student, it’s sometimes hard to find time to work on my apps. I have deadlines and exams, and those are never really fun to deal with. So I found a way to keep myself from drifting away from my work.

Everyday, I’m dedicating at least an hour to development. I know that’s not a lot, but that’s why the term “at least” is there. I only get one hour if I have an upcoming exam or project deadline. If my week is mostly free, I dedicate more time to app development that to studying. It’s what I love doing, and this method helps me do it no matter what.

Shawn Blanc has been writing a lot about this topic, and I urge you to check out his work. It’s been eye-opening for me.
