I’ve been working hard on getting Piggy out there soon, and it’s going to be out there. Really soon.

I’ve set up a landing page, where you can watch a short video I made about Piggy, and sign up for Piggy’s mailing list.

Also, the beta’s already out and I just need to find bugs and finalize a few things before releasing the app on the App Store. If you want to be on the beta, just let me know.

I’m readying up Piggy’s first beta release. It’s pretty close to the final release, except for some design tweaks. If you’re interested in trying it out, send me an email.

Apple Music was launched yesterday, and I just want to share some very quick thoughts about it. This is not in-depth, it’s just a few things I liked, and a few things that I didn’t.

Piggy was originally going to have just a tiny set of features, and that was what excited me about it. It was built to help you stay under budget, and that was its sole purpose. No expenses management, no categories, nothing. Just a budget, and payments. I loved that.

I miss writing. It helps me think, and introspect. It’s the best way to really understand what’s going on in my head. I open up a blank Byword file, and I just write. What comes out is usually what I’m thinking about most, and that’s always eye-opening.

I started Pixelated a few months back, and only released 3 videos on there. It was a project I started because I was really intrigued by the possibilities of video, but the process of creating each of the three videos really wasn’t that much fun for me. It felt like a burden, a job, and I realized that it wasn’t really my thing.

The other possibility is that the format of the videos I was making was the problem, and maybe it is. I’m going to keep thinking about video-making, and maybe I’ll release something new on Pixelated. For now though, I’m going to be focusing on app development, as well as on this blog.

One thing I really want to get into is design. Icon design, interface design, and other fun kinds of graphic design. It’s one thing I think I’m going to start learning seriously next year. But for now, apps!

I’ve been putting off writing about this topic because, well, it’s a bit scary announcing what you’ve been working on for months now. Well, screw it, here’s what I’ve been working on.
